St. John’s, Antigua – October 3, 2025 – The 2025/2026 cruise season has officially kicked off at Antigua Cruise Port, with Rhapsody of the Seas making the first scheduled call on October 2, bringing a buzz of excitement and the promise of a record-breaking cruise season ahead. Officially running from October 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026, the season is forecasted to welcome a remarkable milestone of over 1,000,000 cruise passengers — an increase of 33% over the previous season — reflecting the strong demand and the growing popularity of Antigua and Barbuda as a top Caribbean cruise destination.
Work continues to advance on the Upland Development Project, bringing Antigua Cruise Port closer to delivering a state-of-the-art cruise terminal designed to enhance the visitor experience, streamline homeporting operations, and welcome P&O’s Arvia by November 15, 2025. The terminal will feature a host of modern amenities and upgraded check-in facilities.
