YES Foundation

The new cruise port development will foster a wave of positive change for Antigua and Barbuda. As the country strives to build a more resilient tourism product, the contributions of the youth will play a major role. As a means of strengthening the foundation of various initiatives and providing a platform for the youth to excel, the YES Foundation, our charitable organization, will focus on youth development.

YES Foundation, Youth Education Sports Foundation, will place a spotlight on several pivotal areas to provide funding for various causes which cater to the needs of the country’s future generations. The Foundation will comprise of an advisory committee and be managed by a fully functioning board with the distinct responsibilities of reviewing and allocating awards to deserving youth who are in need of assistance to achieve their full potential. Funding will be made in a fair and transparent manner in order to help develop the skills and entrepreneurial prowess of the nation’s youth.

Important aspects include:

  • Provide grants to reputable and transparent entities to develop and empower the youth of Antigua & Barbuda
  • Support a number of efforts to regenerate tourist attraction destinations i.e. Historical sites, shore excursions etc.
  • Support local small business owners and entrepreneurs by providing both training on product and service offerings, as well as loan a total package of US$5 million for selected entities approved by the Government of Antigua & Barbuda
